(non)encounters explores the idea & implications of the quilted multiverse. In a multiverse where space is limitless, our universe (and world) repeats itself infinitely and in infinite variations. This book explores the effects of this theory in terms of a chance encounter, or rather the endless possibilities of not making such an encounter.
The circular accordion structure mimics a standard timeline of the creation and expansion of the universe, while also suggesting the boundaries of our visible universe (the way that light travels). The textural collograph prints further the cosmic association.
